We are happy to announce the release of our latest platform update i28.
Features of i28
The Immix i28 release is designed as a faster and more efficient tool for your business, offering key features for improved functionality, including:
- The introduction of HTML5 for live video
For cameras and systems that can stream directly in native H.264, compatible Immix integrations will be able to pass the video from the camera straight to the Immix web interface. This greatly reduces CPU and RAM consumption on the server and provides cost benefits to customers running their Immix servers on cloud infrastructure.
- New First Line interface
This lean, alarm-only interface is designed for very high-volume stations offering video verification services.
- Speed enhancements
We have decreased the time it takes go from the Alarm queue to the Site Monitor page by approximately 40%, improving response times and security outcomes.
- Security updates
In addition to our recent UL1981 Revision 3 updates, Immix has recently been through 3rd party security penetration testing. As a result of this testing there is a number of security enhancements that have been made to the platform to ensure that Immix remains fully secure against possible cyber attacks.
- Enhanced audit event filtering
When reviewing an event, it can be tricky to cut down the noise to see the things relevant to you. Audit filtering allows you to filter down the audit history to specific types of records.
- Incident email styling
We have improved the Incident emails that are sent out to your customers or colleagues when a critical event happens at their premises. This update improves the styling of this email and you can now customize this email to re-enforce your brand.
- Arm / disarm notifications
We have added the ability to automatically notify your customers or colleagues via email when their site is armed or disarmed.
- As well as a host of smaller features and other enhancements…
We have been running a release candidate program with select stations for around 2 months to get operational feedback on this new update. With the help of our community of Immix Certified Professionals we have received lots of helpful feedback which allowed us to make quick improvements and adjustments to this update prior to General Release. We are now making this new update available to all SureView customers.
Beyond the features and functions of this new release there are security updates along with a new Device Service for HTML5 streaming video that requires a slightly different update process for your Immix server(s).
Please follow these DETAILED INSTRUCTIONS on how to run this update. This is a simple process which your Immix administrators would be more than capable of running.
If you need help with this process please reach out to your Immix Account Manager or one of our engineers.
